Patriarch Kirill believes feminism is a very dangerous phenomenon

Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill believes feminism dangerous phenomenon, as its proponents ignore the main purpose of a woman - a wife and mother. The head of the Russian Orthodox Church does not see anything wrong with women to make a career, doing business and politics - all, maintain a reasonable balance.

"I consider it a very dangerous phenomenon called feminism because feminist organizations proclaim psevdosvobodu women, which should first appear out of wedlock and outside the family. At the heart of feminist ideology - not family, not the education of children and women that function, which is often contrasted with family values. Perhaps it is no coincidence that most of the leaders of feminism - is unmarried women, "- said the Patriarch at a meeting with members of the Union of Orthodox women of Ukraine in Moscow on Tuesday.

The Patriarch said that the woman in the first place "homemaker, a center in the family", and the implementation of women's traditional responsibilities in no way puts it in a subordinate position to men. In this case, the primate of the opinion that modern women carry the load that exceeds the male: they are not only engaged in the home, but also work.

"I do not see anything wrong with women to make a career in politics, business and many other things, which are now mostly occupied by men. Should say that in many professional fields women reach today is a very big success, and it demonstrates the ability and her ability with proper allocation of responsibility, with proper priority system to maintain its service as a wife, mother, and at the same time to public service, "- said the Patriarch.
