In Greece, the Olympic torch relay started to be brought to Sochi

The ceremony of lighting the fire XXII Olympic Winter Games in 2014 held in Ancient Olympia. Solemn ritual initiated relay Olympic flame, which will be held for five days in the territory of Greece.
October 5th torch will be passed delegation of the organizing committee "Sochi-2014" and moved to Moscow, where on October 7 starts 123-day Russian stage of the torch relay, which will end in Sochi on February 7, the opening day of the Games.

The fire was lit on Sunday, in accordance with tradition - from the sun's rays at the Temple of Hera in Olympia, where in the eighth century BC, the Olympic Games were born.
